I'm really hoping to see the pictures ya'll have.  You too Eahba!!  I think we'll bring Morgan's laptop, hide in the tent and ya'll can view what we got.  Didn't take as many as we did the last time.  And, it costs too much to print them all off.

Anyway, see ya'll on Friday.

We are registered for GWW and have renewed our subscription.  Some of us had to wait for payday.  Sucks!!  Someday hopefully, we won't live payday to payday.  I guess that's everyone's dream.  Anyway, we are looking forward to a relaxing time at Highland.  We love that place.

Well, it's been six weeks since we came home from Ireland but it's never far from my mind.  I don't know why it pulls me so but I just feel so at home there.  I certainly don't feel at home here anymore.

Gene and I are so tiiiirrrrreeeedddd of the heat and the disgusting way the economy and the shitty attitudes have taken over my beloved Phoenix.  I'm very sorry to say it here but the Californians have driven the cost of living way up.  It's not just me saying it.  There have been all kinds of articles with interviews from recent CA transplants bragging about how they sold a house in CA and moved here and were able to buy TWO here.  How nice for them.  However, it is destroying what Phoenix has always meant to me.  And, please don't bombard me with rebuttals from Californians.  Unless you live where this is happening, you can't possibly understand how Phoenix, though a million strong, still maintained the "town" atmosphere.  It's just another big city now.

Anyway, we have been visiting different AZ towns and obtaining information from towns that we may want to live in across the nation recently.   We found a beautiful house in Cottonwood and I've visited the hospital and talked to some residents and this is a definite possibility.  It's still small enough and isn't seeing too much growth; is much cooler in the summer and has a possibility of some snow in the winter; AND it's still in my Arizona.  Anyway, this is a little ways down the road.  This house needs some makeup done to it before we can think of selling and the market needs to come back a little.

There's not too much else going on except I am doing a solo bellydance the fourth Sunday in September at a Greek resteraunt in Mesa.  I'm very nervous but my instructor says I can do it and I have to believe her.  I have slowly built my costume and I LOVE IT!!.  Purple and green.  We are having a class starting the Sat. after Labor Day to make a belt and bra and I have chosen white and gold.  Very out of character for me but the fringe is awesome.  Egyptian Cartouche is so different from tribal but I like the freedom of movement and the color.  I LOVE COLOR!!

Hope to see most of you at Highlands War.  Hey, is Amber going to become a welcome site at wars too?  If not, tell her we say "Hey".  She is a doll!!

I'm afraid that I'm not going to be very good at this journaling.  I simply don't have the time to invest.  However, I love to journal so we'll see.

I don't even know where to start about the trip to Ireland.  I feel like I've come home when I arrive there.  I just am so comfortable.  I'm afraid the rain everyday would get to me 'cause it did when I lived in PA.  That's why I moved to AZ.  Anyway, the unique ways they use color is probably because it rains so much and is grey alot.  They have color everywhere....flowers inside and out and the color of their homes, especially the doors.  I bought a poster the last time I was there of "The doors of Ireland" and they are beautiful.  I hate to sound so corny about Ireland but....

We arrived in England on Friday around 4ish and I think we went straight to a pub?????  And that, my friends, is really all I care to discuss on this page.  Hopefully, our stories about that night will entertain us all around our fires for months, maybe years, to come.

I am trying to upload pics onto snapfish so maybe ya'll can see Mary, Alfie and Charlie.  They are our Irish family.  They have children that live in the US so they have been here.  Alfie has even been to California.  Of course they have a standing invitation to visit us.

Well, I am job hunting again!!  I really like the job I have but the prima dona OR nurses suck.  I have discovered that OR nurses become OR nurses because they have no people skills and they love sucking up to doctors.  I'm not good at that.  I tell it like it is.  Unfortunately, I am trying to learn how to play the game but HOW I HATE IT!!!  Anyway, the perfect job for me would be two jobs.  One with dogs....anything with dogs and the second one nursing one day a week.  If I could figure out the insurance, I'd do this.  In AR, I had five jobs but the best one was managing the dog pound.  It was also the one that hurt the most.

Enough bellyaching.  I'll be in a better mood the next time.

It's not bad enough that we had a heck of a time getting home but Friday the 13th has been the pits!!  My WHOLE closet shelf with ALL MY clothes on came off the wall and was laying the floor when I got home.  Gene is at his 2nd job from 4-12 midnight, my garden is all burnt up and darn Chase has dug three holes in the back yard around plants!!  Gene's having a son crisis and, damn it, we're just tired and wanted a calm, relaxing weekend!!  Oh well, things will get better.

Since Ireland and England, I am addicted to tea!!  I don't like the flavored tea, just good ole Betty's tea.  I bought myself two Wedgewood cups and saucers at the Waterford Crystal plant and an electric teapot to heat the water and I am just going to go sit and veg with a nice cup of tea!  I wonder, if 55 has gotten to me and I am just getting old???  I don't care, I have looked forward all day to a nice pot of tea!!

My friend, Donna, was so tickled to get the tea I brought her from Betty's in England.  She's going to call me later and tell me what the gunpowder tea did when she added water.  She's such a good friend and I loved bringing her tea from England.  Earl Grey from England.....can't get much better than that.

I'm a little aggravated about this site too.  I'll get it, I suppose but I can't figure out how to read everyone else's journal.

Well we had to say goodbye to the Cliar as they went onto their interests.  I was really hoping to share my love of animals with them by all of us going to the James Herriot museum but it was not to be.  IT WAS WONDERFUL!!  I shed some tears.  Not because he is dead but because this man was and is an inspiration to me and to be actually touching where he touched and seeing what I envisoned while reading his books just moved me so.  Then we went back to Ceara's and picked up our safely stored in the gnome house luggage, caught the bus to Harrogate, the train to Manchester and the plane back to Ireland!!  What a day.  Back in Ireland now and seeing the things we didn't see last time.  Oh a funny thing!  There was a farmer's market in Thirsk and I was walking by the dog stuff and hoping to pick up a pig's ear for Charlie, Mary's dog here, and the stupid stupid man took a broom and pushed the awning up so the water would come off it.  Unfortunately, I was walking by as he did it!!!  Filled my boots and jeans.  I was pissed!!  Just said, Oh great! and kept walking.  I'm proud of my restraint!!#

Well, off to Waterford to spend more money!!  Morgan LOVES crystal!!
